Form 1 Preparation
So you’ve come across the term Form 1, sometimes referred to as a Vendors Statement. Form 1 is a legal form that must be provided by the vendor to the purchaser. The form discloses important information about the property so the purchaser is aware of any particulars so they can make an informed decision on whether or not to proceed with the purchase.
This form is a very important one and it is critical that it is filled in correctly and prepared in accordance with the Act. Delays and inaccuracies in the form can affect a number of things such as cooling off periods and contract rights aswell as serious consequences to the vendor.
